One of the quickest ways for a biker dating to sour is for single biker women and men to be dishonest. While outright lying is never a good idea, the dishonesty that I’m talking about here is being dishonest with who you are, and how you present yourself to the world. This dishonesty can take the form of doing things that repel you or that you feel are morally wrong just for the sake of being with someone, changing your habits, not because doing so would make you a better person, but in order to please the other biker friends, and sometimes even lying to yourself about who and what you find attractive.
It can start out relatively innocent and small, and may seem to be a way to find a common and middle ground with your new biker friends. While some compromise is necessary in any solid relationship
, the danger lies in compromising who you are to the extent that you start to lose your identity. Not only will you start to lose what makes you unique, but you will be giving your biker lover a false view of who you are. Few people have the ability to keep up appearances for very long, and in any great detail, so what is the point in starting?
Instead of trying to impress your biker woman with experiences and expensive things that aren’t your style, the best approach is to be honest. Many times, the simplest of activities or things can do wonders for strengthening a relationship. The trick is to consider not necessarily the financial cost of what you are doing, but rather the time and effort invested. Taking the time to make a connection with your biker lady, can do much, much more for building a good relationship then gifts ever would.
It’s also a good idea to remember that good relationships work because each person brings their own strengths and uniqueness to the table. You were attracted to your biker girl or you biker guy because of some combination of traits that they had, and the same could be said for your biker match. Those individual traits and characteristics are needed to make sure that the relationship remains vibrant and alive. Therefore it is in your best interest, and the best interest of the relationship to have a life outside of the relationship. While it may be tempting to do everything and anything with your new biker friends or lover, doing so has the potential to lead to resentment, frustration and anger.
As a single motorcycle enthusiast, you know how much you crave the feeling of independence, of knowing that you are only answerable to those whom you hold in high regard. However, since many times you find yourself on the outside looking in, it can become quite tempting to mold yourself to the desires of another to simply belong somewhere. It is a dangerous proposition to say the least, and in many ways ultimately ineffectual. Single biker women and men want to build relationships not on the lies and what they want to hear, but rather on honesty and communication.
