Enjoy a cross country motorcycle ride on your first biker date

first cross country motorcycle ride

Ride across with your biker girl or man for a motorcycle travel when you plan your first date.

As a single motorcycle rider, a viable option is to go for a bike riding on your first biker date time, weather permitted. If you choose to go with this option, there are a few more things to keep in mind. First, keep to roads that are well maintained, and recognizable. The last thing you need to do is to get into a situation where you have a broken down bike on the side of a lonely road.

Second, it’s probably not a good idea to double up, or ride on the same bike. There will be time enough for that later. Not only is riding two separate motorcycles a good idea for safety reasons, but it also gives you a way to see their style of riding. Continue reading

Make a little plan for your first biker dating in the real world

ride to biker bar

Two bikers ride out together to a biker bar for the first date.

Here are a few tips in how to approach the subject of meeting for a first time in the real world.

One of the major reasons why first dates fail to happen is because the people involved make the mistake of not planning for them. It may be that they are worried about offending the other person, or perhaps they may feel that a “make it up as I go along” attitude will work well in the long run.

Unfortunately, this approach will often fail simply because most people need a plan of action- something to react to, either favorably or unfavorably. Instead of saying something vague like “We should meet for a ride sometime? or “Feel like meeting for a biker rally?” try saying something like this: “There’s a great biker bar on Stevens Street- about halfway between the two of us.

How about a riding meet there next Friday for lunch?” By being specific, you can provide your date with concrete things to change, reject, or accept. They can respond with anything from “No, I’m sorry, but I got plans on Friday- would Sunday work better for you?” Or “I’ve been to that biker bar- the service is not perfect. What about that restaurant across the street?” Of course, they could just as easily accept.

There is another reason to be specific in your time and place of meeting. As we know, safety is always a concern, especially when you are meeting some biker guy for the first time. By setting up a specific time and meeting place, especially a few days early, both you and your date can check out the place prior to the appointed time if so desired. Also, it gives both of you a chance to inform trusted individuals where you are going, and when you’ll probably be back.

First biker date should be brought up sooner than later

Ideally, the idea of the first biker date should be brought up sooner than later. After all, there is so much more to be learned in a face to face meeting than can ever be learned in an online setting. True, pictures can and should be exchanged, but honestly a picture can only tell you so much. Quite a number of people make the mistake of staying in the safety of a chat room or an email system for far longer than needed. Think about it this way – you’re an independent, self-reliant person.

You’ve already taken all the safety precautions, thought about all the possible bad things that could happen, and you still feel that meeting a biker would be an enjoyable experience. What are you waiting for?

I won’t lie to you. It can be a bit daunting to make the first move when it comes to meeting for the first time; no one is arguing that point. However- and this is important- it doesn’t have to be. Here are a few things to remember:
Keep it light and friendly
It’s not the end of the world if the other biker singles says no.
Chances are they’ll say yes.

Move from online biker dating to first biker date in person

Move from online dating site to life.

Meet bikers in a local bar or club when you have chatted on biker dating site.

After you created your online biker dating profile, and have started to field interest from a number of online participants. Emails have been sent out, some answered, and some left by the wayside because something in them simply didn’t click. You’ve braved the forums, had interesting discussions in the chat rooms, and eventually found yourself talking with a certain individual for the majority of your time.

There is certainly seems to be a connection, but it can be difficult to tell for sure when the two of you are separated by a computer screen. Believe it or not, there will come a time when the idea of actually meeting in person becomes one that should be explored. But how do you go about doing it? How and when do you approach the subject? Finally, where do you go and what do you do on your first actual in person biker date?

The first step is to relax and take a deep breath. True, transitioning from the online biker dating site to meeting in the real world can be a bit unnerving, but it’s not an earth shattering event. Chances are the other person is probably as nervous as you, and desperately trying to hide the fact. But really, there are quite a few reasons it can work out extremely well.

The first reason is that you already have some areas of common interest. You both share the love of riding motorcycles, and the biker lifestyle. Second, you’ve taken the time to learn a few things about them through your conversations. In reality, that puts you on much firmer ground than those who simply meet for the first time in a blind date situation.

Second, since both of you are using an online biker dating system, you know the potential pitfalls and advantages of doing so. If things were done correctly, profiles would have been completed honestly, expectations would have been explained, and the overall feelings presented should have been genuine ones. Both you and your online biker friend have taken the steps necessary to hopefully find exactly what you need and want.

Biker social network is another choice for meeting single bikers

Biker social network

Harley motorcycle social network for men and women Harley riders.

If you’re not exactly comfortable working with a biker dating site, there are other options available. There are quite a number of social media sites that are specifically designed for bikers and single motorcycle enthusiasts. In fact, many of the riding clubs from around the country have an online presence in today’s internet. The advantages of these sites is that you know that each of the members have a certain level of love and passion for motorcycles. Also, many of these club sites are regionally based, which makes it easier to meet local bikers in your local community.

There are other social media communities online that are focused not so much on the regional area, but rather on specific types of motorcycles, or motorcycle manufacturers. These motorcycle communities can also be another great way to make connections, especially if you’re looking to talk about a particular motorcycle, get advice, or simply talk shop with those who are in the know. However, it is good to remember that these motorcycle club websites tend to be quite technical in their nature, and not always open to the building of online biker relationships.

One disadvantage of the various social media groups for motorcycle enthusiasts is that it can take a bit of time to find them. Many are hidden somewhat buried on the World Wide Web, mostly due to their very insular nature. However, if you know where to look, and what to look for, these sites can provide a great way to meet people that have the same interests that you do.
