Hare a few things to keep in mind when you add your picture to you biker dating profile.
First, it’s important to use a real picture of you, preferably a close up shot. It’s pretty pointless to use a drawing, or picture of scenery that you love. After all, people don’t date a sunset or a crayon drawing. By using a close up picture of yourself, you give the impression that you’re not afraid of being who you are, and that you’re good enough to be broadcasted across the World Wide Web. Also, when the meeting time comes, your potential biker dates won’t be disappointed- he or she has already seen a photograph of the real you.
Of course, it’s never a good idea to use a photograph of you at your worst. Many people make the mistake of taking the photograph themselves, often revealing that their eye for picture composition isn’t that great. We’ve all seen the pictures where the person is holding the camera at an awkward angle, trying to highlight their face and upper body, and usually completely ignoring anything and everything in the background. They are usually taken in the bathroom, or perhaps the bedroom. In addition the person is usually making what they believe to be a sexy or brooding face. It rarely, if ever turns out the way that they want.
Think about it. A dating profile is an investment in your future; why would you want to do anything that might hinder the success of that investment? One of the best things that you can do is get some professional pictures taken by a photographer for your profile. There are quite a number of professional photographers that are willing to negotiate prices, and are quite reasonable in what they charge. They also have the knowledge and skill set to present you in your best light.
Of course, there are situations in which hiring a professional photographer to take your picture simply isn’t an option. If that is the case, don’t worry, but don’t take the picture yourself. Nothing good comes from a self-taken profile picture. The best other choice is to have some bikers friend take the picture. Make sure you wear a good outfit on your motorcycle, one that your parents wouldn’t be shocked to see you in. While it may be tempting to wear something revealing, in most cases this can be more of a turn off for those who are seriously searching for a companion. After all, there is more than enough time to reveal that side of you later.
If you do have your bikers friend take your picture, it might not be the best in quality. Chances are things such as lighting, focus, and brightening and contrast will be off. Thankfully, with the advent of digital photography much of these things can be fixed. There is absolutely no problem with fixing such things as contrast, brightness or focus on the photograph to put you in the best light. That being said, it’s never a good idea to use editing tools to actually add or change things in the photographs. Adding things such as squiggly lines, alternate colors, or alternate backgrounds doesn’t really make you look clever at all.
